Wow. That’s about all I can say about this book… on to the Spoilery part of this review. Okay, not really. But this book was soo intense. I thought Lord of Shadows was a crazy, intense ride, but I was wrong. That book is nothing compared to this one.
Lord of Shadows is the second installment of The Dark Artifices and it definitely does not disappoint. This book is soooo dang good. I didn’t actually plan on reading this series at all, but I ended up reading Lady Midnight because I heard such great things about it.
We have finally come to the end of this amazing series. It took me a lot longer to listen to, mostly because I didn’t want it to be over. I finished it a few days ago and still can’t believe it’s over. I will miss these characters something fierce.
Dumplin’ was such a fun read! I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with all of these characters quickly! I also found a new love for Dolly Parton! I am currently listening to the Dumplin’ soundtrack while typing up this review and I am enjoying myself immensely.
